Overrated
NC State – they’ve played terrible defensive teams (except UCF) this year, which has skewed their offensive stats
Wake Forest – just by being 2-2 these guys are overrated

Underrated
Virginia Tech – some of the best talent in ACC, can we overcome our own offensive coaches?
Florida State – can they prove the Oklahoma game was an anomaly?
North Carolina – the potential is there for a surprisingly tough team at the end of the year

Improved from last year (most to least improved)
NC State – the largest improvement by far
Virginia – just being competitive is a victory in Hooville
Miami – their young talent is maturing nicely
Florida State – a little better but not enough to be nationally relevant yet
Maryland – they appear slightly better than last year, but that’s not saying much

Worse than last year (top team biggest drop)
Georgia Tech – it’s between them and UNC for the biggest drop
North Carolina – Heels are thankful for the existence of Ga. Tech, they better hope their young unexpected starters grow up quickly
Virginia Tech – mainly because of the loss to JMU………and offensive ineptitude
Wake Forest – these guys are terrible, may be the worst team in the ACC
Duke – at least as bad as Wake, yuck

No real change
Clemson – talented but chokers, like always
Boston College – dependable and boring, like always
